We work with all local Job Centre Plus offices across Birmingham. We also send our employment opportunities out to other partners that work with clients who are actively looking for employment.
How do you make sure that the right candidates are recruited for the training programme?
We undertake a rigorous assessment and selection process. Firstly, each person has a telephone assessment to ensure they meet the criteria for the programme offered. If, at this stage, we feel that they are suitable, they are then invited to attend a maths, English and IT assessment. This is then followed by a 1 to 1 informal interview with targeted questions that meet the employer’s needs. That way we ensure that we only offer the right calibre of people a place on the programme.
